Though I will continue to watch Prison Break, like many, my fan spirit left with SWC.  I will leave this LJ to continue to update itself, but I will no longer be here to organize it and archive entries.  If anyone would like to take over ownership of this journal, please respond to this post.  I'll let you do whatever you want with it, even change the layout (but why would you want to? lol).  

I hope all of you find a worthy fandom if this has been a loss for you as well.  Moonlight is looking promising. :)

Finally! Someone was kind enough to rip Whisper, and the quality is very good. For a thriller B-movie, this is one of the best I've seen. SWC is awesome!... of course. :)

The Truth Is Out — and So Is Prison Break's Doc!

OK, now you worrywarts have something to wring your hands about: The Ausiello Report has just learned that after giving birth, Sarah Wayne Callies is not returning to Prison Break after all.

Shocking, right? Especially given the way the actress' manager has been insisting for weeks that her client would be back. (The words "pants on fire" come to mind.)

We already knew that Callies was MIA from the opening credits in the first two episodes and that, for the one scene in which Dr. Sara appeared, a body double was used. But nonetheless, trusting souls that we are, we believed the mom-to-be still had a job. Well, no more. There's a story here, and you're gonna get it.

Um, as soon as we do.

In the meantime, feel free to work out your grief over this turn of events through cybersupport groups, viewing parties of key scenes from past seasons and especially tear-stained blog posts. Also, any guesses as to the "creative" way insiders are saying Callies' absence will be addressed? — Additional reporting by Ben Katner

UPDATE: A publicist for FOX just issued a statement exclusively to JustJared.com: “Actually – the network and studio has not confirmed that Sarah Wayne Callies has departed the series this season. Dr. Sara Tancredi plays a significant part in the storyline this year.” So the question still remains — will Callies return as Dr. Tancredi?

Kristin: Speaking of murderers and multiple personalities, Let's talk 'Prison Break.' I recently visited their brand new set in Dallas, Texas and got a little Season 3 preview from Dominic Purcell. Chances are he'll be hot and sweaty, so let's take a peek.

Dominic: Well, we're back to what we do best, which is, you know, the whole prison thing. Um, we have uh... Season 3's all about the Panamanian prison. I'll give you a little insight into the third season. We've got Bellick walking around in a diaper the first six eps, so you can kind of work out what's goin' on there. You got, uh, Mahone, who's starting to lose his mind. He hasn't got his pills. Uh, you know, apart from it being incredibly dramatic and intense, it's also kinda fun. You know, it's an outrageous, hilarious senario.

Korbi: So, you're back in prison, sir.

Wentworth: Yes. Things have come full-circle yet with the reversal, 'cause I'm on the inside and Licoln's on the outside.

Korbi: Can I assume that there may be a possibility of another break?

Wentworth: Uh, there may be, as the name would seem to suggest. Um, there certainly won't be another tattoo, or, at least, the tattoo I have is totally irrelevant to this present situation. But I think that's part of our winning formula. You know, it's a show about what happens when you put eight or nine alpha-dogs in a box and shake it, and you have a bunch of enemies who have to work together to achieve some kind of goal.

Korbi: Gotta have the Sarah question. What's goin' on with her this season?

Wentworth: You know, umm, Sarah has some family business going on right now which is the best possible business, umm, imaginable.

Korbi: She's pregnant.

Wentworth: Um, and that has, um, made our shooting schedule a little bit more complicated than usual, but I will say that, for Michael and Sara, this is a pivitol year, and the fans can expect quite the roller coaster ride.

Question: For the love of Diet Raspberry Snapple, please tell me all these rumors about the recasting of the Sara Tancredi character on Prison Break are not true and that Sarah Wayne Callies will reprise her role in Season 3.— Adie 

Ausiello: I can confirm that they are not recasting her role. And that, unfortunately, is all I can confirm.

Is Prison Break’s leading lady getting sprung? 
Rumors persist that Sarah Wayne Callies may not be returning to Prison following her maternity leave next year, fueling speculation that our producers plan to introduce a new love interest for Wentworth Miller.

While I don’t have any confirmation of the latter, I can put your mind at ease about the former. Sarah’s manager assures me that her client will definitely be returning next season. Now the only question is: for how long?… You don’t expect me to answer that one do you?
